Funding for HIV / Hepatitis C, Prevention and Awareness Programs in the NWT

A joint community / territorial / federal initiative
 
    Our Goals

  1. Promote HIV/Hepatitis C prevention and awareness in NWT communities.

  2. Provide a coordinated and supportive approach to funding and mentoring HIV/Hepatitis C projects.

  3. Foster partnerships among funded projects and community agencies at a local and territorial level.
 
Funding

Project funding is available for community projects that respond to additional needs and new initiatives relating to HIV and Hepatitis C prevention and awareness.

Voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental agencies are eligible for up to $10,000.

Funding is available now, and we will continue to review proposals as they are received.

Funding Priorities are for:

  • Inmates
  • Youth
  • Women and Men at Risk
  • New Initiatives
